Pastor David is a fourth-generation preacher whose calling to serve God has been evident since his early childhood. He currently serves as the third Lead Pastor of Trinity Church, following in the footsteps of his grandfather, who was the first, and his father, who was the second.

In 1988, Pastor David pursued his education at the Latin American Bible Institute, where he obtained his AA degree. He then began serving as an Associate Pastor at La Trinidad Church, assisting his father and grandfather in their ministry endeavors.

Continuing his educational journey, Pastor David earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Life Bible College in 1996, followed by a Master’s Degree in Theology from Azusa Pacific University in 2005. In 2022, he achieved his Doctorate Degree from Fuller Theological Seminary, all while leading two thriving congregations: an English-speaking congregation at Trinity Church and a Spanish-speaking congregation at Iglesia La Trinidad.

Pastor David remains dedicated to personal and professional growth, regularly networking with fellow pastors and engaging in extensive reading and study across various disciplines. His areas of passion include Recovery Ministry, Preaching, and Discipleship.

Outside of ministry, Pastor David finds joy in traveling with his wife, Pastor Mona, spending quality time with his daughters Brittany and Tabitha, along with her husband Renato, and indulging in his love for golfing.

Pastor Mona is deeply passionate about organizing ministry efforts and has dedicated over 20 years to utilizing her gift of Administration here at Trinity Church. With a background of more than 17 years in the Corporate World, she brings valuable experience in enhancing the structure, organization, and protocols of our church.

Currently, Pastor Mona oversees the business operations of the church, as well as our Missions Program and budget. Through prayerful discernment, she identifies opportunities to partner with missionaries and programs that align with our mission of spreading the gospel and winning souls for Christ. Her commitment to serving God and His people is evident, and she carries a heartfelt burden for reaching out to those who have been marginalized.

In addition to her ministry responsibilities, Pastor Mona enjoys engaging in personal interests such as reading, learning new life skills, gardening, hiking, planning family gatherings, and exploring different parts of the world with her husband and best friend, Pastor David.

For over 35 years, Pastor Mona has been a steadfast companion to Pastor David, supporting him in marriage, ministry, and education. She is equally passionate about nurturing her relationship with her children, Brittany, Tabitha, and her son-in-law Renato.

Pastor Israel Velasco serves as one of the esteemed pastors at Trinity Church, where he plays a multifaceted role in both the English and Spanish congregations. His responsibilities encompass a wide array of duties, including preaching, teaching, counseling, officiating weddings and funerals, and contributing to systems development within the church framework. Pastor Israel’s tenure with the pastoral staff commenced in 2009, although his involvement in ministry leadership dates back to 2003.

With a fervent dedication to outreach endeavors, Pastor Israel is deeply committed to both local and global Missions. His overarching goal is to expand the reach of the gospel message and empower individuals to embrace their divine calling with effectiveness. Additionally, Pastor Israel takes pride in his unwavering support for the San Francisco Giants, showcasing his enthusiasm for sports and community engagement.

Pastor Veronica possesses a fervent devotion to ministry, particularly in nurturing the spiritual growth of children and facilitating their encounter with the love of Jesus. Having graduated from the Latin American Bible Institute (LABI), she has long harbored a sense of divine calling to advance the Kingdom of God through unwavering dedication.

In her current role as Children’s Pastor at Trinity Church, Pastor Veronica oversees the Toddlers group (ages 3-4) and the Children’s group (Kindergarten to 5th grade). Recognizing the immense significance of children in shaping the future, Pastor Veronica approaches her responsibilities with utmost seriousness, viewing each child not only as a precious gift from God but also as a pivotal force for positive transformation within communities and the broader world. Consequently, she commits herself wholeheartedly each week, investing love and leadership into every child who crosses her path, treating them as if they were her own offspring.

Beyond her ministerial duties, Pastor Veronica also fulfills the role of a full-time nurse and shares a marital bond with Pastor Israel. Together, they joyfully parent their children, Jonah, Hannah, and Leah, embodying their commitment to both family and faith.
